Hybrid Farm's 10th annual Memorial Day Murph is an event to challenge our athletes while honoring a fallen hero and fellow CrossFitter.
Event starts at 9:00 am, first heat starts at 9:30 am sharp. There will be 4 divisions, RX'd, Scaled, Team and a kids heat after all after all adults are done.
RX'd athletes can do the WOD 100% as it is written and complete all reps with no modifications. A 20/14# weight vest is recommended but not necessary.
SCALED athletes can make modifications to the WOD. Examples of modifications for scaled: Jumping Pull-ups, Push-ups from knees or to a box, and walking the run.
TEAM athletes can share the WOD with a friend. Divide reps any way you want between teammates. One partner completes reps at a time. Scaling/modification of movements is also an option for teams. We do encourage you to have team members complete run as a team if possible but not mandatory.
Non-gym members (family or friend) may participate. Make sure to be early so we can get them a waiver!
The Workout is:
Run 1 Mile
100 Pull Ups
200 Push Ups
300 Squats
Run 1 Mile
If you have a 20lb vest or armor, wear it.
After the WOD, Rob will fire up the grills. We'll provide Louie’s brats, paper products, and utensils. Please bring a dish to share and beverages if you don’t like the Miller Lite Rob will have stocked in the cooler.
